When it worked it was extremely jerky in auto mode, and on changing up there was a pause when the engine lost power. If you tried to drive it hard then the auto clutch slipped and it simply revved without delivering power to the wheels.
In manual mode it was better but overall I would not recommend the i-shift to anyone.
I don't believe for one moment that my problems are unique and would welcome any further comments.

Was your car an 07 build?
Brand new ?
Certainly we have had no issues with our car as yet although it is one of the first car with the upgraded software - yes it is jerky if you accelarate hard but there is enough power in the engine to avoid hard starts
at the moment we are happy
and as far as I am aware so are most of the other i-shift owners
although there are a few unhappy people
