Just back from 2 sunny weeks in Orlando Disney driving a Kia 7-seater automatic on those stupid roads over there, quite enjoyed it once I got used to it!
We arrived at Orlando airport on the Thursday evening picked 2 vehicles up from Alamo rentals and then spent 3 hours trying to find our villa in the dark - quite an experience for my Father and myself both driving for the first time on the RIGHT side of the road and trying to understand american road sign mentality - who the heck decided that on every crossroad junction that if you needed to turn left that they should put all the signs on the RIGHt side of the road on the OTHER side of the crossroads so you only see them and realise you are in the wrong lane when it's too late!!! Crazy!!!
Was nice to be back in my Civic today though.
Have I missed anything exciting in the past 2 weeks then?
