I fitted red LED’s to my type r, but the were to dull. Coloured the standard bulb with a red permanent marker and voila bright red light. You can get bulb lacquer but the pen worked fine. Left them switched on for 15 minutes to see what would happen to the ink when it got hot, but nothing they stayed the same colour.
