Never treated leather in a car before a quick wipe over with a leather wipe once year to clean it is enough.
I thought the cloth seats look like they might go fluffy or bobbly after a bit also I have dogs and the hair would stick to the cloth seats like nobodys business. Also a final note my OH lives in shorts in the summer and he always has a stupid bit of velcro on the pockets (nearly every pair he owns has it) and on cloth seats it pulls at it and eventually goes threadbare.
