I've seen a few threads about Dog Guards, but was wondering if anyone had some more details (pictures?)

Is the standard Honda Dog Guard a 'mesh type' or a 'tubular type' ? My dealer guessed at metal bars.

Does it intrude into the boot space at all ?

Basically I'm concerned about how much it will impede the already poor visibility. I think an extra couple of bars going across will be no use, but a mesh I hope will be alright.
