My point... if you wrap something serious within a joke then that is inappropriate. You cannot blame people (ie. me) for being cynical if you joke about something expecting people to take it so seriously.

I have no right over anybody else... but I do have the ability to express myself in an appropriate manner when it seems somebody is possibly taking advantage of the sympathetic "listening ears" with something wrapped in a joke.

I am glad you have your way of getting through the hurt. I have no doubt that anybody who has lost someone near & dear (myself included) wishes their nearest & dearest deceased were alive, well & enjoying life with them still.

It would not be appropriate to add smileys onto the end of any comment in this post, just as I will not add a joke into it. That way it shows people I am serious.

I am not vindictive. I am just suggesting that you express your words & feelings without Court Jesters in attendance.
