I decided not to bother with front fogs on my new Civic.
YES they do look better than the plastic fittings, BUT...
I don't need to worry about stone chips!
In addition, the front fogs on my old MGZX made no difference whatsoever in foggy weather and I guess what? I had to replace one of them after a stone hit it!
On balance I am happy to have practicality over aesthetics!
