Thanks for the advice, I don't think that the bonnet is bad enough to get it repainted under warranty, so I'd probably would have to pay for the whole respray. I was given a £500-£600 estimate to get a ding in the offside rear door fixed and painted, ( I know it will affect trade-in value if I leave it) I also have a dent below the passenger door handle but that is a lot harder to see. My idea was to get a quote, (pointing out the problem with the bonnet), hoping that the quote would be favourable when the bonnet was taken into account.
