My thinking would be on how long you are going to keep the car.
If you are going to keep it for a few years then maybe getting it resprayed might mean a better price when you come to sell it, the paint will still be in a good condition, compared with our cars which will be covered in scratches and chips.
As for how difficult it would be to sell on, why would having it resprayed make any difference, as long as you can prove it wasn't resprayed due to accident damage
