Hi Lovedog

I have just had my front shock absorber replaced. I was told at the time of the test drive (which was to determine whether there was something wrong or not) that all civics make this noise. It would seem that they are designed to bottom out. Strange I know but thats how they work. With the new shock in place mine still makes a noise but not as much as before. A loose bump stop shouldn't damage the front suspension but I would make sure that it was put back in place.
