They are two raised sections of painted plastic that sit below the headlights.
When you wash the windscreen with the headlights on they pop out and spray high pressure water on to the lights. They look a bit light blanking plates, if you have an EX with
HID lights (which should be standard on an EX) then you should also have the washers.
