The current civic was officially launched in January 2006 although there were a few cars released prior to this date I would say the fact the type R has just recently been launched and has v.similar looks to the type S and 5 door that it will be at least another year + before the civic is given any facelift
I would say it is generally 3 years before Honda make any major changes to their cars based on last civic, jazz and CR-V
