Having a Lexus IS200 I naturally looked at the:

IS250 - too expensive, too large
Octavia - The badge plus slightly too big
Citroen C4 - poor build quality
VW Golf - then heard about the dealers

Then the Civic toys list got me interested coupled to Honda's reliability record.
