The display illustrated by Pottsy is the EX. If you have another Civic model, the display is slightly different in that on the EX you can select another track whilst its still playing the current track. Hitting the centre of the jog wheel then causes the system to 'jump' to the selected track. On other models you have to go to the next track [perhaps selected the next folder] one by one. The EX is much better. Also:
[a] tracks recorded in .wma rather than .mp3 will take up about half as much file space as mp3 - so you can get twice as many tracks on a disc. You can also mix .wma and .mp3 tracks on the same disc, but don't use the ipod .aac format though.
[b] I use Nero 8 burning software which allows a part disc to be made, and then further tracks added afterwards [i.e. you don't have to finalise or 'close' the tracks first which effectivley seals the disc]. Further tracks will be added in new folders. According to the Civic handbook only 8 folders can be recognised by the player, but I'm sure mines played more than that!
