But to be honest, going 135mph isn't all that exciting. It's getting from 0 to 60 that floats my boat.

A friend of mine had a 205 GTI and said that it made him a safer but faster driver. At the time I had an XR2 with a Diesel Engine installed! (don't ask as I bought it that way). Anyway I said that you didn't have to go fast to have fun and he disagreed. The outcome was a sprint challenge from his house to another friends (National limit road with lots of sharp 90+ degree bends). The outcome was an equal draw. I stayed tight up behind him bend for bend, he said it was a fluke so we did it again on the way back. This time I was infront and he arrived at the other end a whole 15 seconds after I did. It was a wild drive, but I would say that the average speed was @ 45-50mph and we certainly didn't go over 60mph. It proved that speed and a fast car isn't required to have fun! Sometimes fast cars like the
CTR can make roads feel sterile. Low spec' cars can feel sporty at the same time as staying within the law!
