Civinfo - View Single Post - Seats electric shock when closing the door

I first experienced this on a 1989 Nissan micra, then a 2001 Civic, a 2005 FR-V and my civic.... see the pattern forming? I don't know why but i seem to get shocks from every Japanese car i've had, the european ones i've had have not tried to defibrilate me upon leaving the car, don't know why this should be?!!?
