i have the 1.8 vtec and have done 16000 miles - first 12500 absolutely fine, no oil needed at all and first service done at 12,400 miles.

Last week oil light on and i've ended up putting 3 litres oil in! Phoned my dealer who'd said 1litre oil every 1000 miles - i questioned why it hadn't used much first 12500 miles and he was at a loss - i have no leak!

I think they diddled me on service and didn't put oil in at all (i usually check but didn't on this occasion, doh!)

Is putting me off hondas - had an Alfa GT before this and Alfa dealer couldn't do enough for me so not impressed with Honda dealer!!!
