Civinfo - View Single Post - Indicator Automatic cancelling of indicators

We are all familiar with the indicators turning themselves off after completing the appropriate turn, but on my Civic I have noticed that if I signal right and turn left, so that the steering wheel clicks the off switch, then my signal is cancelled even though I have not yet turned right.

I want to know if this is how all Civics behave or whether my car has a defect.

I suppose many of you may not have noticed this problem, but as I live in Milton Keynes with it's masses of roundabouts it happens to me all the time. i.e. I am signalling to turn right and then I have to turn left to go around the roundabout.

I certainly have not had this problem on my two previous cars.
