I've just picked up a courtesy 1.8 Type S from my dealer whilst they investigate my rear sun blind issue and it does it as well.

My previous cars that didn't were a 2001 Ford Focus and a 1990 VW Golf. I spoke to a colleague at work shortly after posting my query and he had the same feature on his Peugeot 307.

I just found it an odd behaviour.
