Hmm, well that depends, a lot of queuing, sore feet and stiff backs by the end.

We'll come back to that question

Quote:
What did you do
Queued for an hour and a bit to get on the bus at Turweston, got to the factory ate a very expensive sandwich, queued a bit more, had a quick wander round the new team trucks, they were absolutely amazing, look like normal trailers, park them with about a 3m gap between them, with a bit of magic they become a 2 storey control centre with only a gap between them on the ground floor, packed full of all sorts of techy stuff.

Queued a bit more, a lot more, about 2 hours more to get into the factory, queued all the way round the factory, saw a few of the test bits they have to manipulate suspension and bits etc. looked round a few labs, then was given the opportunity to sign up to myearthdream.com thing, bits of body around to see if you could see your name, but not enough to find my name. Then at the very end, there was Jensons car, with a 3ft exlcusion zone to the front and no access to the other 3 sides.

who did you see
Murray Walker from about 30m, the rest of the time we were queuing with no visible line of sight to what was going on, heard a few mumbled interviews as there was no PA where we were queuing.

Left at 3pm, bored, achy and ready for a pint.

Back to the original question.................

No, would have like to have seen a bit more of the cars, mabe an engine, even heard one start up, although I have heard one at Silverstone it would be great to do that. It was all for charity and that seems to have been all they were bothered about.

In the main Office block they were selling merchandise, well, last years merchandise, looked more like a jumble sale, piles of clothes on tables, people barging into each other to get to them. They were giving away freebies though on the factory tour, although it got everyones hopes up, everyone was given a pair of ear protectors, I think everyone assumed we might need them, no-one assumed they were a gift as they were B-A-R Honda branded, thanks!!

If they had doubled the price and halved the tickets I think it might have been vaguely average, they just didn't seem ready, badly organised, in fact the autograph sessions were to be outside Unit 4, except no-one knew where unit 4 was, the PA guy apologised that they would have to move this as the only people who knew unit 4 were employees, and they could probably get autographs anytime.

They kept apologising for the number of people, like they were suprised. At 10am when we collected the tickets they were queuing from the security gate, up to the roundabout with Tescos, down the hill and almost to the pub on the left (new locomotive, or something), crazy!
