The question shouldn't really be how fast have you been, more like at what speed do you start to cack your pants and not feel in TOTAL control of the car ? My view is that it doesn't matter how good a driver you are or think you are all other road users are idiots and should be treated as such.
I'll find out on Monday (YAY !) but I'm guessing that at 115+ on the speedo (on private land
) there'll start to be issues with hard braking/steering and faster than that will leave you open to serious poo if it hits the fan.
Previous car was a performance enhanced Subaru Sti. Only once exceeded 150 on the speedo but at 130 it handled and braked like a dream.
