No pictures to back this up, but I've seen the extremes of 15MPG and 63MPG in the diesel.
The 15 was about 800 metres after filling up, and resetting the meter, at a station right beside the road, and accelerating straight onto a 110Kph main road in the rush hour outside Caen in Normandy.
The high figure was after a day of pootling around the quiet Norman back roads at sight-seeing speeds.
Ah, if only I had that sort of patience all the time.....
PS it breaks my heart to report that you can have Esso diesel in Belgium for 1 Euro a litre.
I bought some at 1.002 Euros and the next day it had gone DOWN to 99.9 cents.
