The floods in Yorkshire were concentrated in an area around Sheffield,Doncaster,Rotherham areas of South Yorkshire and Hull, Humberside/East Yorkshire three weeks ago and a small area around Filey (North Yorkshire) last week (Flash flood from a thunderstorm)
The vast majority of Yorkshire and indeed its Yorkshiremen and women were unaffected. We had no rain in West Yorkshire last Friday until after 5pm.
Hope these facts help you to understand the situation in Yorkshire
Thanks for that - there are, as I said, going to be some men & women, children, cats & dogs etc in Yorkshire, born & bred or otherwise who are familiar with the situation outlined there upon, not withstanding etc blah etc blah.

Thanks for the chuckle.
