It's not really a tear, it's the toplayer being damaged. I wonder if the wheel is actually real leather of fake, like the back of my seats. It damaged SO easy (like a lot of parts of this Honda), my previous cars that had leather steering wheels never EVER damaged over all those years (besides the normal wear & tear).
It's not that noticable, you must know it's there. But still, it's a brandnew car and it annoys me like hell!
