When overtaking surely you only have your mirrors and rear view mirror to hand?.By setting my mirrors carefully I don't have blind spots.
Given a choice of the original rear screen or a plain one I would chose plain,however I have got used to it,and it would not deter me from chosing the Civic.The car has so much else going for it;for a 'drivers' car' it's superb,together with the fantastic economy and practicality a winner by a very long mile
