i know what you mean, but if we are all enthusiasts then the negativity should be constructive criticism. I worry that all this can damage the Honda brand. I really hope they are paying some guy to trawl this site and make a snagging list for the first facelift (and also some other issues before that). They are in danger of losing some serious ground here.
I remember Honda recalling one of my Dad's civics years ago for a potentially faulty lightswitch, when the car was four years old! where are those kind of gestures these days? By the sounds of it all the 1.8 i-VTECs need the engines sorted, all Civics need a new dash visor and a better paint job at the least. I'm worried!
I don't think the dealers help much either. I'd love to see honda cut out all the franchises (do a Daewoo, but make it work) but that will never happen.
Most things here have made me think, hmmm will it be a civic or an accord next, for me to even think about deviating from a plan is a big thing!!
