foot down building up speed - that I can understand

I have heard people with the old software saying that when they are driving through towns or cities doing around the 40mph mark the system
will slip through the gears to 6th gear


This doesn't happen with the new software ( this is where the MPG issue comes in) Having driven cars with both versions of software
I have to say I am much happier with the newer version although there is still some room for improvement.
