Mislead by the brochure

In the Civic brochure the pictures of the 'City Pack' shows the front and rear protectors along with the front and rear garnish which appear to be colour matched. The accompaning text only mentions that the the wheels (Sedici) are not included. The result is very misleading and intimates that the garnishes are included and being part of the protector pack.
These garnishes are in fact not colour matched but a sort of gunmetal/silver colour and cost an extortionate £235 for the front and £235 for the rear.
So do not expect them to be included with the City Pack/protectors.

The other misleading info concerns the CO2 emissions. In the original brochure and price list, all of the i-Shifts were listed as being in VED band C. With the latest brochure, only just issued, the Sport and EX's are now in band D.
This I spotted when my VC5 arrived from the DVLA which was prior to Honda issuing their latest brochure. When I spoke to my dealer quering this they told me that they had not heard of any changes and had been charging cutomers £100 pa road tax ( as they had with me ) instead of band D's £125 pa.
Honda must have slipped that one in rather quietly.

Naughty, naughty.
