I'm about to buy a new civic 2.2 i-ctdi in one of the next months. Yesterday, i was told by my own Honda dealer that there's a lot of difference between one 2.2 ictdi and anonther 2.2 ictdi engine. One can have (standard) 160 hp (instead of 140) while another one only has 120 hp. Reason for that should be the settings of the turbo. "you should have some luck" he said.... This seems so un-Honda to me. Anyone any experience ?
