I thought a little about importing a new diesel from Norway, Denmark or Germany myself, but didn´t bother in the end - went for the petrol. It was the 190 hp remap possibility and more torque that I found interesting.

I am sure you will get some good feedback on the diesel, everyone who likes diesels seem to like it.

The only issue I know of is that it is slightly more prone to flat batteries.

By the way, I don´t think the German cars have heated seats.
That is why I was thinking Norway or Denmark.
Otherwise, new cars (without tax) are usually cheapest in Denmark - I don´t know if they have heated seats though. Norway does.
