Hi Bob, all the info you require is in the forum; yes a few problems were found with the early cars (mine is an 06 model) and various jobs have been done under waranty, but with a brand new car you expect this. The 07 models seem to have been sorted now.

Now the matter of the 1.8 or the 2.2 am sure you will read lots about this also on here and in the end its down to you after the test drives, we all have our own slant on this topic
