In product terms, yes I agree they are more expensive than they warrant, but it all depends on how the guarantee is worded and legally binding, etc.
To some people that alone is worth the expenditure - the car paint being self-cleaning or whatever is claimed, is an added bonus.


I didn't not understand - I was just remarking how if the claims aren't met in reality, then irrespective of what basis you're sold on the product - self-cleaning, wash and walk away only, etc, then it's not going to protect the paintwork any more than if you don't get it done and wash the car once a year.

As for your 'tone' - didn't bother me, so I've no issue with how you wrote your reply.
