Type R brakes on 2.2?

Hi Dave,

I posted on the forum about whether it is possible to fit the Type R callipers on to the 2.2 Diesel and smurf79 directed me to you.

Is it possible and what would be involved, is it a big job?

I've seen your posts regarding the brake uprgade package you offer but i'd like to keep as much of the car honda oem as is possible. Also I've heard that the EBC rotors warp at high temps.

Cheers,

Chris

As we are on the subject of FN2 parts onto a 2.2 I would be interested to know if the Stoptech big brake package and rear package would fit onto a 2.2.

We have never attempted this because i know the hubs etc are different between these cars. Depneding on how much you want to do this, it may be alot cheaper and less work for you to just upgrade the discs and pads with upgrade direct replacements. Sorry i cant help.

Thanks for your reply. What is your experience if any of EBC rotors warping at high temps?

Cheers
