I would recommend the HKS racing suction kit & milltek cat back exhaust. You will be very pleased with these mods. When in VTEC the sound is just incredible, Go for it you wont be disapointed! ABP great service too.

If your talkin power then it has to be flashpro first, use the group N map until you have some other mods then get it properly mapped to get the most out of everything
as a cheap way of makin the car look a bit better, speak to mr JP for some new headlights, sidelights and main beams (think I remember you sayin it was a 57 plate you just got so...) I would get the 6000k headlights and main beams with the 501 sidelights (think the 25 LED sidelights may be too bright/blue for the halogen bulbs) it really depends on how much money your lookin to spend...the optional splitter/diffuser look great but at around 650 plus fittin not cheap hope this helps... |

Thanks lads for your quick replys, not to clever when it comes to technical mods, just like my cars to be a tad quicker than the standard ones!
Supercharger would be nice but bit extreme for the family!ha Things i want doing over next few months is; Window tints Ice Rage alloys footwell lighting (if rickhondar can help) ipod connection hondata flash pro (bit more info needed) induction kit oversized brake disks strut brace short shift gear change Do want exhaust system but dont like the round exhaust pipes stuck out, prefer the triangle shape as they are, do they make any after market ones that match original shape?? Also going to paint my calipers any idea what best paint is?? some list but any help or prices with this lot would be great!! |

The flashpro has a generic group N map which will drop your vtec changeover to 3800 and thus gives more urgency and power over the midrange (where the ctr is sadly lacking) it is also enables you to full custom map your ecu once you add more mods. It also has launch control and as it is MAF tuning it retains all comp functions
As for the exhaust question...you do know that the pipes are not traingular?? I think all aftermarket exhausts aside from the HKS are discreet in that they do not exit the triangles |

Dont forget the GM or Mugen Induction although they are a lot more expensive so depends how much you want to spend on it. Paul at TDI North will be able to help. Im having the Mugen Induction kit fitted this month, The kit is around £1000 cant remember full price think the GM induction is around £950.
What this about Flash Pro having launch control.... This is also getting fitted onto the car didnt even know it had launch control... Back to the mods window tints look great and low cost. The Flash Pro is around £500 and to have the car mapped around £220 again speak to Paul at TDI North for prices. |

as for the FlashPRO i think its 568 inc VAT...you should have a scout about and see if anyone is selling one cheaper on the site...you need to be quick though they dont hang around for long! (the flashpro is only used to remap the ECU and is not attached to the car all the time therefore it just sits in a drawer and is effectively brand new so if you can pick one up cheap it'll be as good as new - bargain!)....IMO dont bother with a proper remap until you've got a few other mods as the Group N map will be fine until then! for me FRS, new discs/pads etc are a waste of money...simply becuase the CTR breaks can more than handle the stock and my current power output so i dont see any need to change them (other than maybe when your gettin it serviced then you may want to get Honda to put your own choice of pad on) and FRS etc is great....if your always driving on country roads or on the track but day to day you wont really notice it if, like me, its just normal roads/mways your on...it really depends on how far your wanting to take it..if your going down the handling route its a set of eibach springs, FRS, new brakes, LSD etc...for power its flashPRO, new catback, intake, bigger TB, race header etc etc and for looks it has to be tints, front splitter/rear diffuser, painted calipers, wind deflectors, etc how much do you earn?? lol Quote:
