Milltek Question

Hi guys, Wonder if anybody can advise on the following.

Had a Milltek fitted to my CTR GT about a month ago by ABP, (Great place and excellent service) Really happy with it apart from one niggle.

I absolutely love the sound of it when driving around normally, (Low Revs) However.

I don’t seem to be going in my V-tec as often these days since fitted due to the sound my Milltek makes when in V-tec. It makes a really loud raspy type of sound if that makes any sense. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance.

This is normal dont worry. An intake kit makes this even louder in the v-tec too. Alot of our customers like this sound but i can see why you thought something may have been broke!

Hope this helps?

Without hearing it, its hard to judge but I have the Milltek fitted to my CTR and when I hit v-tec the exhaust note drops, gets louder but sounds great. I would say your just not used to the exhaust note. The best thing you could do is drop it off to ABP and ask them to have a listen if your driving past one day. But a loud raspy sounds does sound like normal.... (great sound)

Thanks for all your help chaps. Since your re-assuring comments. I have actually grown to love this sound now in V-tec, It maybe that I just wasn’t used to it.

Thanks again everybody.
