Basically they used my car to model the typhoon kit, it was great, long ram, sounded like a Subaru im not joking. Problem was it kept tripping the sensors. Took it back to k&n and they found the air fuel mix had changed to dangerous levels and they couldn't figure why, so they abandoned the project and sent me on my way with the 57i kit.
Was gutted but since then had no problems at all..

Hope that clarifies everything.
Brill.

Let me know how you go on.

Thanks again.

Just out of curiosity i emailed 3 exhaust builders in the north west and was surprised with their replies. I sent a couple of pictures for reference, one of the invidia for FN2 and the other was the Remus.

1.) £450 +VAt twin exit, or £400 +VAT single
2.) Could only make a single exit system £390
3.) Yet to reply

For what the exhaust comprises of on the FK2 I think thats rather alot. judging by the second companys response I wouldnt trust them near my car anyway! If the Milltek is a success then it'll be my first choice and hopefully for around the same price.

Hey all
What can I say
Top class service from Milltek
Started work at 7.30 finished by 3.. And that's with testing both resonated and non resonated.
Ended up going against my brain and went with non resonated because the pops and bangs on over run and gear changes down were just sublime. Really nice low purr on Start up but a furious sounding exhaust through the rev range.
1st gear is ridiculous and 4th, 5th and 6th seem to have a lot more pull through the revs!

Metal work was top and Kev, what a man, absolute gent and a guy who knows his stuff..

Resonated was a little too quiet for me, very close to OEM I thought so Non resonated it was for me...

Really well looked after, can't thank them enough for the good day.

Looks like retail prices will be circa
£680 non resonated
£780 resonated

Bit expensive but damn does it feel great.

Recommend.
Enjoyed my 112 mile home scaring pedestrians and listening to the sound reverberate off walls and tunnels

Thankyou all those who helped and civinfo

That's expensive, but I guess it's a great way to get a Milltek for our engine. Shame I'm getting an FN2 next year.
