Top class service from Milltek
Started work at 7.30 finished by 3.. And that's with testing both resonated and non resonated.
Ended up going against my brain and went with non resonated because the pops and bangs on over run and gear changes down were just sublime. Really nice low purr on Start up but a furious sounding exhaust through the rev range.
1st gear is ridiculous and 4th, 5th and 6th seem to have a lot more pull through the revs!

Metal work was top and Kev, what a man, absolute gent and a guy who knows his stuff..

Resonated was a little too quiet for me, very close to OEM I thought so Non resonated it was for me...

Really well looked after, can't thank them enough for the good day.

Looks like retail prices will be circa
£680 non resonated
£780 resonated

Bit expensive but damn does it feel great.

Recommend.
Enjoyed my 112 mile home scaring pedestrians and listening to the sound reverberate off walls and tunnels

Thankyou all those who helped and civinfo
Does this price include fitting?

Seriously, I'm planning another road trip to the UK in the Spring (March ?), to coincide with a Civinfo meet ...

At the same time, I have a number of "tasteful and refined" mechanical mods in mind, which I'd like yourselves to install - and after that, a trip to Elite Tuning, for them to crack open and remap the ECU ...

For ABP, I have a number of things in mind - a few minor bits'n'bobs I'll bring with me, but most of the stuff is vastly cheaper if I order it in the UK or the US and get it delivered to the UK, or if ABP supply it directly ...

How would you guys feel about ordering some stuff for me, receiving and storing some other stuff, then installing everything (including what I bring with me) ? ...

Preliminary work list :-
  • New 18" OEM Summer Shoes (Wheels & Tyres)
  • Change the rear 15mm Eibach wheel spacers for 25mm
  • Type R front Calipers (painted) and disks (EBC TG)
  • Ferodo DS 2500 brake pads - both front and rear
  • Milltek exhaust, of course ! - the quieter (resonated) one
  • Throttle body spacer (the US type that [Bog] has)
  • Lightweight pulleys - US ones again - but not undersized
  • A full Service - basically, something between Year 4 & 5
More to follow, but it will all be 'minor sh*t' ...

I'll need to look at what [Bog] PM'ed me - plus the pulley thing - I'll get back to you at the weekend (I'm 300 Km from home right now) ...

But yes, a joint trip would be excellent - just promise me that you WON'T wear the Green 'Mankini' and the Welliies ! ...

Quick question to Abp - do you do spacers there also? Or do I have to buy them before hand for you guys to fit?

Feel free ! ...

I did fit 15mm all-round, mostly because Norwegian 'construction and use' regulations limit widening, and 15mm all round was right on (or even a tad over) what is permitted ...

However, I've never had a single remark about the spacers, apart from a tyre place that was changing the summer shoes for the winter ones - and he just wanted to know I got them, as he quite fancied the idea ! ...

So, I'm going to leave the fronts, but change the rears to 25mm ...

Note - you have a 3-door, which comes with a rear track that is 20mm wider (10mm on both wheels) than my 5-door - so 15mm all round would result in exactly the track widths I'm going to have ...

However, "Dave" will keep you right ...
