Im really sorry for the delay.

We are currently looking at the system again to get the cost down. Because the system is a different design towards the front pipe and has a large flange fitting, it makes the system over £150 more to you. Milltek are thinking of re-designing the system to get the cost down to a similar price as the Type R system.

This may take a month or so but i will keep you up to date with the development.

Hope this is ok and im sorry for the long delay!

I'd give the chance to someone more deserving. Stevey_p7 has always said he doesn't want a 'Tek, as he's always been happy pondering on an Invidia for £700.

At long last we have some definitive news from Milltek on the 1.8 Civic systems

Milltek engineers (being Milltek engineers) have in their wisdom developed a system for the 1.8 which includes two additional sections over and above the FN2 Type R system. These 2 sections go right up to the catalyst at the front of the engine assembly and then loop down across the subframe to join the flange on the FN2 Type R Milltek system.

So instead of making an alternative front pipe joint to allow fitment of our regular Type R system they designed whole new sections that are longer, more intricate and unfortunately slightly more expensive! BUT you do get more for your money with the extra 2 sections

So for the 1.8 Civics you will need the following:

Milltek Sport front pipe assembly (2 sections) @ £169 inc vat (PRICE REVISED 24TH MAY 2015)
Milltek Sport FN2 Type R sports system @ £499 inc vat
Total price for full system from catalyst back £648 inc vat
Delivery (UK Mainland) £10 inc vat
Fitting in ABP workshop £55 inc vat

(The Milltek system for the FN2 is made exclusively for ABP here in the UK and as we buy them in quantities of 25 systems at a time we are able to offer such a competitive price on them. The Milltek recommended retail price for this system is £688 inc vat!)

Here is the picture of the front sections as fitted to the 1.8. (3 bolt flange forward to the catalyst at front of engine)

Click the image to open in full size.

And here is the picture of the FN2 system:

Click the image to open in full size.

We need to place an order for a minimum of 10 front sections for the 1.8 so if you want to place advance orders you are guaranteed one from the 1st batch. We will only order once we receive 5 definate orders.

Call us to order on 01270 567177.

Cheers, Chris

£648 isn't a small amount of money but remember you are getting a whole lot of stainless system for your money. This system goes right fron the cat flange at the front of the engine to the tailpipes!

Cheers, Chris

I'd hazard a guess that many (due to the @ £700 cost installed) will need some "real world \ end user" feedback first ...

Get your local guy to give you a write up - I certainly will, when mine gets done ...
