Due to various questions on this forum about the 30mm lowering springs i thought i would post some pictures here so people can see what the 30mm drop looks like, my car has had these springs on for one week now and it is fantastic.

i have also done a picture of the front end with a 500ml bottle to give you an idea of ride height.

It may well help as we've not heard of similar problems on cars we've set-up. It also depends on the accuracy & calibration of the kit previously used to measure the car? Has it been set up at the same place both times?

Best option may well be to book the car in and see what we find. That way we can determine whats causing your wear issues and the pulling problem....

hi chris,

I have the Eibach Pro kit -15mm.

Which price can you make for the eibach front camber bolts and eibach rear toe / camber shims including shipping to germany?

So I think I need 4 shims, it is better?!

Would it go her in germany in a good workshop?

I get your alignment with this?

Front Eibach camber bolts are £25 pair.
Rear Eibach camber / toe shims are £8.50 each (maximum required 4)

We can ship to Germany no problem at all but to establish what rear shims you are going to need you will need to get your geometry checked first and let us have a copy of the results. With these we can send you the correct size and number of shims required along with our recommended settings.

Shipping costs will be around £20

Thanks, Chris

Here at ABP we get loads of questions about -15mm or -30mm lowering for the FN2 Type R.

We obviously have both options of Eibach springs available but what most folk want is to see the difference on the car.

So today we had 2 cars lined up outside. My car with our ABP exclusive Eibach -30mm springs fitted and a customers car with the Eibach -15mm prokit springs fitted. Take a look on our facebook page for the images and if you don't already like ABP on Facebook now's the time to do it!

Look here: Welcome to Facebook

Cheers, Chris

Dears,

one question regarding the 15mm set I bought few weeks ago from you.

These bump stops were included in the package:
http://i39.tinypic.com/wbe4k1.jpg

Do I need to replace the original ones with these or the original ones need to be replaced only if they are worn off?

They have a different shape, etc so I am wondering if it's necessary to fit them there.

Sorry for the delay in replying....

Understeer will be dramatically reduced once the springs are fitted and the geometry is set to fast road spec.

If you acheive the 1 degree negative camber on the front you may see very slight additional wear on the inside of the front tyres but this is minimal.

Cheers, Chris

The -15mm prokit springs fit a number of Civic models and on the Type R they have a different bump stop than the standard models. You can either use the ones supplied or just shorten the original Honda ones (shorten by 50%).

Hope this helps,

Chris

Our ABP exclusive -30mm kit only fits the petrol cars and is specific to the FN2 Type R. As you have a diesel if you use our -30mm springs the front will actually come down by -40mm due to the additional weight of the diesel engine.

Hope this helps,

Chris

Hi there,

I take it the front camber bolts for the 2.2 come with a copy of your settings?

Regards,
Colin.
