Exclamation ABP Current suspension/geometry prices

FN/FK chassis (8th gen Civic) suspension & alignment upgrades

ALIGNMENT

On a standard 8th Gen Civic the only thing that is actually adjustable is the front wheel alignment (toe). We can also make the front camber adjustable with the use of Eibach adjustable camber bolts - this is essential to get the best handling as the cars usually leave the factory with uneven camber settings often positive on one side and negative on the other!

The rear alignment and camber is also non-adjustable from the factory but again we have a way around this. This is fortunate as most 8th gen Civic's rear geometry leaves a lot to be desired with the N/S/R usually having excessive negative camber. We install EIBACH toe & camber shims behind the hubs allowing the geometry to be set perfectly.

By setting the geometry to fast road spec you will instantly notice improved steering feel, sharper turn-in and reduced under-steer. Depending on whether you choose to do just the front or both front & rear the improvements improve accordingly.

We offer two options of alignment:

1) ABP Fast Road Set up for the front only. We measure the initial geometry settings and then install fully adjustable front camber bolts in the struts. We then set the front camber and alignment (toe) to our own fast road spec before the car receives its final road test ensuring correct steering wheel position. You will be given a full printed out before & after geometry report.

Front EIBACH adjustable camber bolts £25 inc vat
Labour to check geometry, fit EIBACH bolts and set front camber & toe to fast road spec £90.00 inc vat
TOTAL PRICE £115.00 inc vat

2) ABP Fast Road Set up for the front AND rear. We measure the initial geometry settings and then install fully adjustable front camber bolts in the struts. We also remove the rear hubs and install the correct required camber & toe shims. We then set the front & rear camber and alignment (toe) to our own fast road spec before the car receives its final road test ensuring correct steering wheel position. You will be given a full printed out before & after geometry report.
Front EIBACH adjustable camber bolts £25 inc vat
Rear EIBACH toe / camber shims @ £8.50 each inc vat (maximum of 4 required - usually less)
Labour to check geometry, fit EIBACH bolts, remove rear hubs and fit EIBACH shims, set front and rear camber & toe to fast road spec £150 inc vat
TOTAL PRICE £175 to £209 inc vat (dependent on number of shims used)

SPRINGS & ALIGNMENT

By installing a set of top-quality EIBACH springs you take your FN2 to the next level in the handling department. Far from being harder or crashier the EIBACH's progressive design offers superior handling and improved ride quality / comfort. The standard EIBACH pro-kit only lowers the FN2 Type R by a disappointing -15mm so we commissioned EIBACH to design an exclusive to ABP -30mm spring kit which is superb in every way and looks great on the car! The same kits also lower non-Type R's by 25 and 40mm respectively, with the same advantages of better ride, less body roll and improved handling.

We can supply and fit our EIBACH -30mm lowering spring kit and and apply our Fast Road Set up for the front AND rear. We strip down the front and rear suspension removing the original Honda springs and replace them with the new EIBACH lowered spring kit. We then measure the initial geometry settings and then install fully adjustable front camber bolts in the struts.

ABP / EIBACH -30mm lowering spring kit £150 inc vat
Labour to install lowering spring kit, check geometry, fit EIBACH bolts, remove rear hubs and fit EIBACH shims, set front and rear camber & toe to fast road spec £240 inc vat

TOTAL PRICE £415 to £449 inc vat (dependent on number of shims used)
(Above package but with Eibach PRO-KIT -15mm springs (instead of ABP Eibach -30mm) will be additional £14 extra inc vat)

We are also happy to supply the parts separately either mail-order, Export or over the counter at our premises in Cheshire.
EIBACH front adjustable camber bolts £25 pair inc vat
EIBACH rear camber & toe shims £8.50 each inc vat (maximum of 4 required)
ABP spec EIBACH -30mm lowering spring kits £150 set inc vat
EIBACH -15mm PRO-KIT spring kit £164 set inc vat

How much on top of the full fitting and FRS (i assume the price of fitting includes the camber bolts) for hub spacers to be purchased/fitted as well?

Cheers

Its the cost of the spacers plus £27.50 labour to fit front & rear at the same time as the suspension.

Here is a list of the spacers: Eibach Hubcentric Spacers now in stock!

Hope this helps?

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately I have seen these (part code E10-40-011-02-22) cheaper elsewhere.

Regards

Can i ask where from and how much if you don mind me asking?

We always try to be very competetive on Eibach parts and we are not normally beaten.

Thanks.

Of course. I've been quoted £149 (inclusive of VAT and delivery) from Motorsport World in Strathaven.

Sorry i cant match this price. As a long standing authorised Eibach dealer we cant discount and de-value the product that much. We do discount this part number already from Eibachs retail so i can honestly tell you that they are not making much money atall on that one. I know how much they pay for them.

Sorry i cant help on this one.

Hi,

Might sound like a silly question, and I apologise if it's been asked before! The springs that lower the fn2 by 30mm... Where you have said eibach/abp, is this because 2 options are available, or because you guys modify the original 15mm eibach ones? Or something else I have missed?

Thanks,

Matt

The 30mm Eibach/ABP version is made by Eibach, commissioned by ABP, meaning they are exclusive to ABP. As far as I know that means you can't buy 30mm Eibachs anywhere else

How likely is the frs (front only) to fix a reoccuring wheel alignment problem that results in excessive front nearside tyre wear on the inside edge?

I often have to steer to the left to go in a straight line!

Sure, I live on a fairly small island with a lot of speed bumps and all our petrol stations have a raised entrance/exit but I'm yet to actually hit the front spliter on anything

For me personally I now feel the ride quality is smoother and your not getting jolted around like the standard suspension does.

On the road the car feels so much better, the car feels more responsive and corners much faster.

Oh and the car look dam good once you've dropped it 30mm

Depending on what is causing it to pull then the Geometry setup may fix it.

Have you ever had the front camber checked?

Also, have you got a print off from the last time it was checked? I may be able to determine if it is the geometry causing it from that.

Hope this helps?

This is a read out from my 2nd to last alignment check. It has been corrected twice but each time the same issue has come back fairly shortly afterwards.

Is FRS likely to address this?

Thanks for your help.
