Hello

I'm needing front and rear pads for my fn2. Looking at stoptech pads as I don't really need ferrodo's do you do rear stoptech pads aswell as front and if so what price are they? If you don't do stoptech rear do you have anything else that is suitable?

Cheers
Keith

Stoptech have never made a rear pad for the FN2 unfortunately, but we usually put an EBC redstuff pad in the rear to match them up. The pad compound is very similar and the EBC rears are £57.00 inc VAT. The front Stoptechs are just £49.00.

I hope that helps, I can send them out to you next day as well, just let me know when you're ready to order.

Hi, I'm needing to replace my front pads. I assume the stoptech's would be a good upgrade from OEM with OEM disks?

Cheers.

The Stoptech pads are an improvement over OEM, but they aren't a huge one. I would class them as a mild upgrade, fast road pad. If you used them on track you'd find the limit of them pretty quickly.

Having said that though, they are a good pad for the money. We also keep EBC Yellowstuff, Redstuff and Ferodo DS2500 in stock.

Hi James, prices are at the top of this thread.

Front 300mm replacement discs, coated and vented £170.00 inc VAT (pair)
Rear replacement discs, coated and solid £120.00 inc VAT (pair)

We keep good stock of all applications, and they work out cheaper than EBC grooved and dimpled rotors. I'd rate them similar in performance, but you get better value with the Stoptechs.

Hope this helps you in your decision.

Hi,

Prices for the parts you've mentioned:

Stoptech Front rotors - £170.00 inc VAT

Ferodo ds2500 FRONT pads - £105.00 inc VAT

Pagid plain face rear brake discs - £60.00 inc VAT

Pagid Rear Pads - £29.50 inc VAT

Goodridge Braided line kit - £62.00 inc VAT

Delivery to Scotland £15.00 inc VAT (next working day) UPS

I hope this helps. The OE pads and discs are PAGID items, good quality, with coated discs.

hi, excuse my bad english. I wish to know the dimensions of the StopTech discs for FN2.
In internet i found some diferences depending on sealer. 300x25 or 300x28? which is the cost for a Big Brake kit for fn2 and the dimensions of the discs.
Thankyou, David

The Stoptech discs are the same size as the original, I've just checked thickness with a suplier and they are 25mm.

Stoptech do two kits for the FN2. One is a touring kit, single piece disc 300x28 and 4 pot caliper at £995.00 inc VAT.

The other kit is a two piece rotor, 328x28mm and larger 4 pot caliper at £1595.00 inc VAT.

I hope that helps and makes sense. Any other questions, please let me know.

Hi Nuno,

We keep all the brake parts you mention in stock.

The Goodridge braided lines are a set of 6, with 4 lines and blocks included for the rear. They give a much firmer pedal under normal and heavy braking, and give more confidence in late braking. These are £140.00 inc VAT.

The Stoptech grooved front sport discs are coated and good to use with harder compound pads. They are £190.00 inc VAT for the pair.

The Stoptech street pads are slightly harder than standard. They give better pedal feel and reduce fade when the temps are higher. These are £55.00 inc VAT.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Rich

Hi Mark, you should see some noticeable improvements with that setup.

The Stoptech front discs are £190.00 for the pair. The braided lines we keep in Goodridge at £140.00 Inc VAT. That's a full kit of 6 lines and connectors for front and rear.

Are you OK for fluid? We keep the Motul RBF600 in stock too. It has a much higher boiling point than your standard DOT4.

Hope this helps.

Rich
