PS3 delayed LOL!

You've got to laugh. They're missing the Christmas 2006 period and it will be coming out in Europe in March 2007!

Oh deary me.

Oh well, at least it's not going to cost £500 (and STILL not come with the correct lead to connect up to HDTV included in the cost).

Oh, wait.

I am a little dissapointed, but not that much. I haven't touched my PS2 in about 2 years. At the moment, my PC far out-peforms any PS2! A PS3, though... I will be able to wait a bit more.

About the HDMI cable, it is not that supprising. With the old Playstaions, it came with a basic lead, with the high quality ones sold seperatley. You never would have got the gold plated s-video and audio leads with the machine.

The PS3 will be the same. You get the basic lead that will let you connect the thing up, but will have to get the HDMI quality cable seperatley. I have a spare HDMI lead waiting anyway, so it's no skin of my nose!

I will be looking into way of connecteing the machine up in the boot, with a nice 32" HD LCD and some decent speakers. My mobile gaming machine!

It would put a bit of a strain on the batetry, though....

I can guarantee that the shortages for PS3 will be worse than those for the XBOX360 as well. I wouldn't plan on getting one before next summer by all accounts.

As a 360 owner, I'm really glad to have my machine, however, I have been reading several reports on the net, and indeed my own brother in law has experienced regarding 360's blowing up.......

He sent his off to Microsoft Europe for repair, and recieved it back........in the same state!!! He's currently in the process of writing a letter of complaint to Microsoft (including the fact that he's paid for a full year of xbox live that he can't use!!!).....

That said, I'm still chuffed with mine, and am seriously considering 'Test Drive - Unlimited' which is launched tomorrow.......

Mark - have you tried the demo from Live?

I was really looking forward to this one, but (for me) the demo sucks

Fantastic concept, but felt as if I was driving in boxing gloves and some sort of weird mushy lag thing going on.
Seriously unimpressed after the likes of PGR and NFS

I too had a dead 360 - but took mine back to Comet and got it swapped on the spot

Yeah Degs, I downloaded the Demo and like you, was massively unimpressed......the handling doesn't do the visuals any justice at all really......but having read some of the 'Reviews' of the game on Amazon and Gamespot.com, I'm lead to believe that the actual finished game may be quite different......

Have you heard the great news that Forza 2 is set to be released for the 360 too!!!!!!!! Result!!!!

I Take it you mean the PS3 Jazz???

If so, I reckon you'd make around 600-700 GBP for the top end unit.....I'd like to say more, but I think people would be put off by a non-EU spec model......
