Oi!, alanwalne
I'm going round Kent kicking all the doors of any 2.2 Cosmic Grey Civic that I see. Let me know when yours is dented and then I'll give up! "May my husband rest in peace, ......'til I get there!" Last edited by Charles_Harding; 24th February 2008 at 15:53. |

Local ad yesterday: Toshiba HD-DVD player, including 9(!) top movies, for just 89,95 euro!
So that's 9 HD-movies for 8,99 each, player for free! Not bad if you ask me. If it was a decent "normal" DVD player, I'd get it for the 1080-upscaling alone. But it seems there are several problems with these things playing normal DVD's. And despite it's software-upgradable, I don't expect to many updates any more... K. |

Yep! With Amazon now doing them for £280 and a desperate "need" for an HD disc player here, it looks like I have a free games machine. It's a shame that the catalogue is not as good as the Xbox, but I'm hoping that the whole BD thing will boost sales and developers interest.

oh cor blimey - more gadgets for the TTDegs household...
haven't even looked at a PS3 before - aren't there 2 (or more?) different models or something? AND - my 'HD ready' TV was an early one, so has DVI, not HDMI (think the difference is seperate sound?), but also has a spare set of component inputs which is better? (and if it's DVI, do I just need a convertor lead or something?) |

TT - my TV (actually I don't have a TV, its a Panasonic 42PHD7 panel only, connected to a DVDO HD+ scaler) is also an early almost-HD panel. But I have everything connected by component or DSUB/RGB or SDI, so no fancy digital connections either. Component should be fine for the PS3, but I'll let you know how I get on.
