Porsche 968 Club Sport (split from white wheels thread)
In 1993 I bought a new 968 Club Sport. Back then white with white wheels was odd, but not horrific. White wheels now seem to be the domain of cars that feature at barryboys.co.uk.

1993 Car of the year (Autocar), Performance car of the year (PCM, now Evo), Best handling car ever (Autocar in about 2001, IIRC).
Weighs the same as a Mini, but with 240 bhp. Autocar: Quote:

I was going to post that I would have one even if it was as ugly and common as a Ford Focus, but then I didn't know how much TC could take...
I was lucky, it was a company car. I got it from new, and did 60,000 miles in it over 3 years. Wet roundabouts and long motorway off ramps were its speciality - you often used the side windows... I wonder where it is now - only 179 were sold in the UK, so they are quite rare. |

Curiously, I'm 99% certain I know that one. And I can vouch (as can the steering wheel shine) that it has done a few more miles than 90,000 (not that it really matters).
