Thumbs up Driving test - Theory Test Practice

Just found this http://www.dsa.gov.uk/mockpaper/theoryintro.htm. It is a site for practising the DSA Theory test. Glad to report that I passed with 31/35 even thought it is 40 years since passing my test.

It is surprising how some of the questions make you think.

I think it's a good idea to let new potential drivers try out / practice the theory test. It's the hazard perception that might be a bit tricky.

Ahhh, failed miserably 24/35.

Pelicans and Toucans? Are you sure this wasn't some kind of veterinary exam?

Nice! No wonder I got confused.

I'm blaming my poor English for my poor results.

32/35 precisely what I got when I took the test for real in the Summer of 1998 (those were the days!).

I remember doing one of these on the web a couple of years ago and coming to a question about a "Toucan" crossing; I recall how I didn't have a clue what one was. I hadn't even heard the name before. In true Tyke style I remember thinking "I wonder if it's summat they 'ave down south?"

That's okay - the pesky southerners get all the questions about trams*

* Yes I know there are trams down south too, just fewer of them!

i failed first time i think 29 and then got 32, i personally think its not the best of tests, especially the new hazard perception which is just a clicking game lol
