Looks good... If you don't mind me asking, was it expensive?

Cheers,

I bought one of these recently too. Got a 4G for £220.

A new model with a 8.9" screen will be released in the coming months, and will be offered with Windows XP as an alternative to the Xandros Linux used in the current models.

I was thinking of getting one too... couple of my mates have got them...

Only reason I have't bought one yet is that I don't actually NEED it. It would just be a toy...

You can put XP on the older models, but it cripples the performance and takes up more room on the storage card. Bit of a shocker that, Microsoft operating system is a bit cr**y.

I think you can put Ubuntu on it if you like your Linux with a flashy front end

Yeah. They even come with instructions in the manual for installing XP.

The new one with the 8.9" screen will be coming pre-loaded with XP (AFAIK)
