Honda Fit??? Any idea???
I followed a Honda 'Fit Type R' down the road today, and for all intents and purposes, I thought, "it's just a Jazz with a different badge, and funky body kit".....
Then it overtook me, and bloody hell do it go!!!!! Originally I thought the blokes efforts at sticking 'Type R' and 'Mugen' signs on it seemed a bit tacky, but after seeing how quickly it pissed off, I'm not sure they weren't for real!!!! It had an awesome exhaust note too..... Anyoe got any idea if a 'Jazz/Fit' Type R actually existed in Japan, and thus what i saw was an import?? Very curious, and kinda cool.... |

Just googled and found a link to a site showing a Spoon tuned Honda Fit, its only got a 1.5 ltr engine. Blimey. But it does have VTEC.

Just found another reference to it, left out most of the rubbish, but the most important part....
260 PS / 8800 RPM Its actually got a 1998cc engine, not the 1500 I mentioned earlier. |

'Blimey' is right enough!!! A 2 Litre V-TEC unit in something the size of a Jazz???!!!!!! No wonder it pissed off down the road so quick!!!! Hope I see it again, and I'll get my phone camera out and get shots of it..... |
