ref ruined it really , not that im complaining, mascherano shouldnt have run that far to get involved
i cant wait to see all my mates tomorrow, oh the joy !

Referee didn't ruin the game, stupidity by the players is what is to blame.
Anyway, Blues are up there now, getting ready for League/European cup double.
More importantly, CUFC play Webbsfleet tomorrow, I hope the weather is better than the rest of the weekend!

macherano was an idiot and I was very impressed with the Ref Steve Bennett. He had the guts and courage to apply the rules in a high profile game that sent a clear message to players that it isn't appropriate to be disrespectful to match officials. Top marks to him.

The game itself was fantastic, a game where united dominated from start to finish and made Liverpool look very ordinary indeed. Whether there will be any mistakes in the run to the end of the season we will see, but sundays game was exquisite.
