Yes I am being serious. It may be in non-civic chat but that still doesn't automatically mean I think it is acceptable. By the way, if I don't read it, how can I know if I am offended or not?

It happens that I dislike ill-informed right-wing ranting and felt constrained to say so. Of course if you offends you......

I didn't say all the immigrants were lazy, I was saying anyone. I know some immigrants (read the post a bit more ) work harder than the brits do, but it is not my main point, I agree it's in non-civic chat, and as long as it is kept civil I see no reason why we shouldn't have a political debate, especially when the raises in taxes all over are caused by underspending & overspending in the worng areas, and overpopulation. The answer to the countries problems in the money area, which was the main point although it may be buried somewhat, are that public spending should be decreased, incentives given to increase the private sector which in turn will raise the bank balance of everyone, decrease taxation on the individual, and allow them to spend rather than save, this will then keep the countries economy booming. Simple really

Everyone is entitled to their views, and I always like to hear others opinions, it's how we evolve mentally, listen/debate/listen and so on.

ATB,
Tom

Civinfo > Off topic > Any non Civic chat here please!

See the clue in the above

As far as I can see this entire thread is respectful and well within the forum rules.

If you ONLY want to see read / participate in forums purely about the civic then don't venture in to this bit.

You are right of course. I have been around the internet for many years and know how it all works

Just occasionally, I feel that instead of "passing by on the other side" I need to respond. Hopefully, it was done in courteous manner.

Like you I would prefer to back on civic topics.

Anthony.

The Civic can be used as as a hypothetical model of the UK, Beautiful looking, class leading, but sadly rather poorly built in places. lol.

I don't read the Daily Express or Mail, I don't read newspapers full stop there full of cr*p and mostly written for/by monosyllabic morons

I personally think we should take note of Australian immigration policies.

And as for taxes, well someone voted for them :S (god knows why)
