hi becca,
well i had an email back saying someone will contact me within the next 10 days, if noone does which i doubt they will

then i will be very grateful if you could try and sort it for me. i know its only 12 quid but its just the principle of them/you taking the money twice.

result !

well my reply 10 minutes ago was before i checked my emails. this is part of the email that they sent me:

"As it is clear from your correspondence that you only required one policy, I have arranged for one to be cancelled and a payment of £12.60 to be returned to you. This will take two working days to be credited to your debit/credit card.

I trust that this now resolves this matter for you and can confirm that we are now closing our file. "

I just checked my online banking and the money has been refunded into my account so fair play to NU for sorting it out so fast ! didn't really think it would happen and i didn't even have to ring them so nice one

Thanks for the offer Becca and good to see companies caring about their reputations but it seems like your colleagues are also on the ball

yea its great
theres a few others that do it too - onedayinsure.com and ecar i think
as im 21 they said i can only insure anything upto group 17 for obvious reasons but its not bad for one offs
